1. Copyright in Hong Kong
Personal data collected by the Registrar of Copyright Licensing Bodies (“the Registrar”) in the forms delivered to the Registrar will be used for the purposes set out in the Personal Information Collection Statement.
The forms can be downloaded from the table below by clicking the form number. These forms CANNOT be submitted electronically. Please do not attempt to email them to the Copyright Licensing Bodies Registry.
Do not attempt to modify the forms, as doing so will result in an invalid form which cannot be accepted by the Registry.
Actually, copyright is an automatic right. It arises when a work is created. It is not necessary to register a copyright in Hong Kong, China in order to get protection under the Hong Kong law. In fact, there is no official registry in Hong Kong for registration of copyright works.
